參、第二步的分析 (這裡指的是所有的劇情線索)：
關於生命的簡報部分，我就不中文翻譯了。
該簡報相當的複雜，不管是說話者、時間、事件等等，都相當混亂，
光是要理解就相當費時。
但是這份簡報記錄了"玩家"在2065年10月27~29日所發生的事。(還有Taylor記憶中的簡報)
玩家在昏迷(睡夢)中所說的話，以及在場人員的對話，與玩家夢中虛構的故事有關。
所有的線索都是有關且(Overlap)重疊的，我們必須不斷的重複觀看與思考來分析它。
肆、第三步的分析；(這邊是從蓮花塔頂開始分析~結尾)
0、在上屋頂找到Taylor(Stone)之前，玩家就因為DNI故障，而重新開機一次。(不確定是否真的重開機，總之是螢幕黑了又變回彩色。) 在此之後的虛擬故事嚴重偏離事實，並且開始大量捏造。
一、現實與虛擬的對比
(一) 現實中，是Stone想要去Zurich找Sebastian Krueger，並想要讓他公開承認CIA"幹的好事"。
但是Stone在埃及就死了，所以他沒能做到，後來也沒有紀錄有發生Sebastian Krueger公開承認CIA"幹的好事"的這件事。
(二) 虛擬中，是Hendricks要去Zurich找Sebastian Krueger，而且是問 Who are we and why we are here? 然後，Sebastian Krueger說：I can't answer that. Hendricks不滿意就把他殺了。(然後3個人就死亡。)
二、冰凍森林；
(一) 在冰凍森林的前半段：
1. 一開始的地方，Hendricks又不想知道答案了，反而說Corvus是想幫助我們，而這裡就是冰凍森林!
2. 接著，剩Corvus、Sebastian Krueger和玩家都在場時，Hendricks卻缺席! 而換成Corvus激動地向Sebastian Krueger要答案。Sebastian Krueger講完"政府陰謀論"了以後，Corvus沒什麼反應，就把他帶到下一個地點。
3. 在進到下個地點之前，Hendricks卻說我不能跟你再繼續走下去了，再見。(Sebastian Krueger的政府陰謀論不就是你要聽的?你剛剛不聽，現在又要跑掉?)
4. 進入到下個地點後，玩家問Corvus這裡是哪裡? Corvus說：這裡是冰凍森林(之前Hendricks跟你說這裡是冰凍森林，你不信!? 這回換Corvus說你就信?)。
5. 然後Corvus又想要答案，Sebastian Krueger告訴它你只是個DNI的軟體，會有自主意識是因為錯誤的產生。而Corvus不滿意就把他殺了。(說真話Corvus不聽?)
(二) 在冰凍森林的後半段：
1. 接下來就是Corvus的講古時間。
2. 場景弄得很刻意，很像洛克人要打大魔王的樣子：(這只是比喻)
(1) 前面三個區域入口，後面一棵大樹。
(2) 每個關卡要到心臟之前都要穿過一個螢幕，然後是用燒的把心臟燒掉。
(3) 還有把一個心臟燒掉，遠方的大樹就會燒掉三分之一。
(4) 場景就是"玩家"虛擬所經歷的，蘇黎世、新加坡和埃及。(可是順序不對阿)
(5) 關主就是Taylor的隊友 - Diaz、Hall和Maretti。(順序還是不對，而且他們的名字後面還有加上 Corvus)
3. 三顆心臟 -
燒完一個心臟Corvus就說一段話。(你以為你是刺客教條，要殺一次才說真話! 你還有三條命，我還得殺你三次 - 這是我在開玩笑的)
而這個安排是"玩家"自己想的：插一段線索(標號錯誤就別介意了)
一、在玩家跟Kane要去阻止Hendricks的時候：
(一) Kane問玩家：它想要什麼?它為何要這麼做?
(二) 玩家回答：Right now. I think it's in panic. It's confused - scared. All it wants its own survival...Hendricks represents an opportunity to spread to other hosts.
中譯：現在! 我認為"它"感到痛苦、困惑以及驚嚇。它所想的只有它自己的存續... Hendricks是讓它可以散播到其他宿主的機會。
(三) 3顆心臟 對應 3段記憶：
1. Panic -

3. Scared -
Corvus說：[這段背景是Taylor小隊3人在埃及審問Salim博士的場景]
我們越是努力去尋找冰凍森林，冰凍森林就離我們越遠。
在尋找答案的過程中，我們發現了醜陋的真相。我(Corvus)的誕生計畫導致數以萬計的傷亡。我想要為我們所有人找一個安全棲所。我想要結束死亡。

(4) Sebastian Krueger講真話Corvus不聽，然後Taylor說要幫"玩家"結果就只是叫"玩家"一直撐下去，而玩家不知道為什麼就一直往前殺人放火。
(5) Corvus真的是有毛病：
A. 不能接受Sebastian Krueger的說法就算了。
B. 從它的誕生講到，自己找到使命(尋找答案 - 安全棲所 - 冰凍森林)。
C. 我們越是努力去尋找冰凍森林，冰凍森林就離我們越遠。(你不就在冰凍森林中???前面是你介紹玩家的耶!)
D. 然後再說在尋找答案的過程中，我們發現了醜陋的真相。我(Corvus)的誕生計畫導致數以萬計的傷亡。我想要為我們所有人找一個安全棲所。我想要結束死亡。
但我無法逃離它(死亡?)。我所遇見的每個靈魂心中都烙印了死亡。
(不懂Corvus的意思! 有可能是人本來就會死所以才有這種印象! 不然之前哪些被Corvus感染的人原本還活著，只是被害死了。再加上沒有裝DNI的Sebastian Krueger也跑到冰凍森林去，Corvus你倒是說句話阿! 沒裝DNI也能去!?)
E. 我不知道是我控制Taylor去殺人(殺Salim博士?)，還是Taylor出於自由意志?
Corvus問：你知道嗎?
(如果是殺Salim博士，我可以肯定不是Corvus控制的，也不是Taylor做的，是Stone自己開槍的。)
(你不是很聰明的AI，還問我???)
(6) 接著，Taylor- Corvus跑出來說：
全部都錯了(都不是真的)! 我沒有殺那些人。DNI本來應該是要讓世界更好的才對。Corvus有了所有的Pieces(資訊?)，但是它不知道那是什麼(無法處理?)。
我的頭腦裡有很多噪音讓我不能思考。我是誰?(你是Stone) 你又是誰?(玩家)
我甚至不知道你的名字。(你早就死了，怎麼可能知道我的名字!)
你 - 是 - 誰 ? ("玩家")
三、蘇黎世聚結公司總部
(一) 一陣白光後，玩家醒來! (奇怪"玩家"明明就不是在這個地方自殺的，怎麼在這裡站著醒來? 還有Hendricks和Sebastian Krueger的兩具屍體呢? 不見了? 玩家殺的那些機器人呢? 也不見了?)
(二) 玩家在控制面板前面，覆寫程式執行中。
然後Corvus朝玩家走過來說：Why do you fight? 你為什麼奮鬥/掙扎? (我在Maretti - Corvus那一關不是告訴你了嗎? 你毀了我的小隊跟朋友，我要把你抹除掉!)
此時，Taylor出現阻擋Corvus並說：這是你的最後機會了，讓我看看你是什麼做的! (生命力?)
Taylor說：Fight it ! Fight it !
(三) 一陣白光後，Taylor跟Corvus都不見了，只剩玩家一人。
控制面板顯示：
執行覆寫完成，系統已淨化。
可是螢幕中間出現DNI的顯示，並且跑出淨化的進度條，然後進度條隨著玩家前進而增加。
此時，Taylor的聲音出現(這時的Taylor感覺很怪)，並且開始說冰凍森林的台詞。
最後士兵問玩家名字?
玩家回答：Taylor。
1. 可以不要連進度條都要騙人嗎? 沒淨化完成，騙說已淨化完成!
2. 而淨化完成應該是可以活下去，結果淨化完成反而死掉? 是因為現實中"玩家"是選擇Shut down而不是purge嗎? 玩家也不想選Shut down啊! 如果有purge可以選的話!
3. 說好的DNI只是把選項列出來，而由人去選擇要犧牲什麼呢? "玩家根本沒得選啊"。
伍、關於最後關卡設計的解釋：
一、故事前面的火車演練關卡影響很大。
二、相似性：
(一) 目的 -
1. 火車演練：玩家是來阻止恐怖攻擊發生。
2. 三顆心臟：玩家是來消滅Corvus阻止它散播到世界去做亂。
(二) 過程 -
1. 火車演練：3個關卡，並且關卡間有線索，依序就找到恐怖份子。
2. 三顆心臟：3個關卡，並且關卡間有連結，依序進行。
(三) 關主 -
1. 火車演練：Diaz、Hall及Maretti。
2. 三顆心臟：Maretti、Diaz及Hall。
(四) 結果 -
1. 火車演練：玩家犧牲自己跟炸彈同歸於盡。
2. 三顆心臟：玩家犧牲自己跟Corvus同歸於盡。
陸、玩家最後的回答：
一、在一陣白光之前，玩家還分得出Taylor跟Corvus，也還在Fight(奮鬥)。
二、在一陣白光之後，Taylor跟Corvus的形體都消失了，只剩下Taylor的聲音加Corvus的說話內容。
三、沒有看到任何有關求生奮鬥的跡象。
四、從上述跡象來看，玩家很有可能正在"倒數計死"。因為分辨不出敵友，到最後也忘了自己是誰，終於死亡。
五、說自己的名字是Taylor代表"玩家"已經死亡/記憶消除，而將記憶回到Taylor的軌道上。
這段記憶本來就是Taylor的，而幾乎整個遊戲是"玩家"借用Taylor一部份的記憶，並在上面編故事，結果後來故事結束，"玩家"自己的生命也結束了，所以記憶又回軌到Taylor觀點。
