Cover: Chizuru is depicted as a snake with horns, dressed like a snake, while Kazuya is portrayed as a frog.
The chapter picks up where we left off. Kazuya thinks for a while but tries to dodge the question since he doesn’t know how to answer. Chizuru tells him that nowadays, men cheat as if it's second nature, and she dislikes that. She believes it's an important issue in relationships and wants to address it.
Chizuru then asks Kazuya if he is cheating. He immediately responds, "No, I would never cheat." Chizuru replies, "Good, that’s a relief.
Kazuya then starts thinking—what exactly counts as cheating? If Chizuru went out for dinner with a male friend, would that be considered cheating? He doesn’t like the idea, but he also doesn’t want to come across as a controlling boyfriend. He asks, “So what counts as cheating? Maybe a kiss?” Chizuru replies, “I see.”
Chizuru then reflects on the significance of kissing. At first, she sees a kissing booth as something fun, but she begins to question whether actions have deeper meaning. Comparing it to the adult industry, she wonders if transactional acts are perceived differently.
We get flashbacks to Chapter 49, where Chizuru tells Mami that maybe Kazuya is the one who will bring happiness to her life. Another flashback shows Mini saying, “Don’t any of your clients want to be your real boyfriend?"referring to bringing happiness.
Chizuru then says, "I've been thinking about it for so long... Where exactly does the boundary lie between a 'rental girlfriend' and a real relationship?"
She reflects on how she goes on platonic dates, yet these rental experiences feel artificial. She wonders whether there are real moments between her and the client. She then states, "I have never fallen for any customer. Not even once."
She further explains that if she quits being a rental girlfriend, it needs to be for both the sake of her customers and her future boyfriend. She says, "I cannot be anyone’s girlfriend. I came on this date to name this special feeling." Then she apologizes for taking so long to find the right words for it.
Kazuya reassures her, saying she isn’t lame, and that he’s happy she wants to define this feeling. He thinks to himself that Chizuru is genuinely trying to understand her emotions, and this is proof of that.
Kazuya looks a bit sad, and Chizuru asks if something’s wrong. He’s still trying to process her thoughts and feelings.
Chizuru smiles and tells Kazuya that she’s happy he was honest with Ruka about his feelings for her (Chizuru) and that she knows he genuinely tried to break things off with Ruka.
They then get on a ride and score 4th place with 1,800 points. Chizuru, frustrated, thinks the game must be broken.
Next time: Overcoming life’s rainy days.
