How to manually change your language
We've just enabled multi-language support with update 0.1.19450.
By default, Aven Colony will automatically detect your Windows language, and if that language is French, German, Spanish, Italian, Russian, or Chinese, it will use that localization; otherwise, it will use English.
As mentioned in the update notes, please be aware that some text has not yet been localized, and will appear in English. We're aware of all these cases and this will all be fixed for launch on July 25.
If you'd like to manually change Aven Colony to run in a different language, here's how to do that.
1. Paste the following into a Windows File Explorer window: %localappdata%\AvenColony\Saved\Config\WindowsNoEditor
2. Look for a text file called Engine.ini in that folder, or create it if it doesn't exist.
3. Paste the following two lines:

Culture=en
Use the folowing settings depending on your language preference:
English: culture=en
German: culture=de
Spanish: culture=es
French: culture=fr
Italian: culture=it
Russian: culture=ru
Chinese: culture=zh
